Allergists/Immunologists

Most physicians are not members of unions, but some may be represented by the Doctors Council SEIU and the Union of American Physicians and Dentists. Allergists/immunologists often join professional associations such as the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology; American Association of Immunologists; American Osteopathic Association; and American Medical Association. Many receive board certification from the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. The Association of American Medical Colleges represents all accredited U.S. and Canadian medical schools, major teaching hospitals and health systems, and academic and scientific societies.
