Payscale.com provided similar findings, estimating that software developers with blockchain experience earned an average of $159,098 annually in June 2024, with salaries ranging between $61,000 and $204,000.

Software developers earned salaries that ranged from $77,020 to $208,620 in May 2023, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.

Blockchain freelancers earn an average of $40/hour, according to the recruiting site Upwork, but highly skilled developers can make as much as $250/hour.
