Nuclear Engineers

Some engineers may be represented by the American Federation of Government Employees, International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers, the SPEEA, and other unions. The American Nuclear Society promotes engineering and science activities relating to atomic energy. It integrates nuclear science and technology disciplines and disseminates information to members through publications, meetings, and public forums. Other associations that provide various resources for nuclear engineers include the Nuclear Energy Institute and the Society of Women Engineers. The Technology Student Association offers competitions and other activities for students in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields.
