Quantum Computing Specialists

Quantum computing professionals do not typically belong to unions. Many join general computing professional associations such as the Association for Computing Machinery, CompTIA, and the IEEE Computer Society. These organizations offer publications, blogs, podcasts, networking events, training opportunities, and other resources. There are also quantum computing organizations that provide support and resources to people in the field. The Quantum Computing Society is a “nonprofit association dedicated to spreading knowledge, providing education, and fostering collaboration in the field of quantum computing.” The Quantum Computing Society offers membership for students and quantum science professionals. The Quantum Industry Coalition advocates for the development of quantum computing in the United States. Quantum Industry Canada provides information on quantum science initiatives and opportunities in Canada.
