Entrepreneurs

Outlook

Entrepreneurism is an increasingly popular career path as a result of people tiring of traditional jobs, having a desire to obtain more control over their work schedules, and have a chance to increase their incomes. Sixty percent of American teens ages 13 to 17 who were surveyed by Junior Achievement USA in 2021 said that they were more interested in starting their own business than having a traditional job. Although not everyone who expresses an interest in becoming an entrepreneur will do so, this and other surveys suggest that there is a strong interest in entrepreneurism as a career.

Becoming an entrepreneur is a long and challenging path that is full of challenges and roadblocks to success. The most successful entrepreneurs are those with grit, confidence, patience, and an intense focus. It also helps to have expertise in a particular field, an innovative idea for a product or service, and marketing and business savvy.
