Loss prevention managers work in offices in corporate settings. They work full time, usually 40 or more hours per week. They work independently as well as on teams with other loss prevention professionals, managers, and law enforcement professionals. They may spend some time traveling to sites to conduct audits and interview employees. The job can be stressful at times, particularly when dealing with people who may be difficult and uncooperative. Loss prevention managers are able to obtain information and stay focused on details to successfully resolve and prevent corporate loss or damages.
