Radiologists receive certification and education from groups such as the American Board of Radiology and the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology. They also have access to advocacy, education, medical standards, career development, networking opportunities, research, publications, and other resources offered by professional associations such as the American College of Radiology, American Medical Association, American Roentgen Ray Society, American Society of Head and Neck Radiology, American Society of Neuroradiology, Radiological Society of North America, and the Society of Interventional Radiology.
