Neuropsychologists and Clinical Neuropsychologists

Some neuropsychologists belong to unions that specifically serve those in the government or education sectors. Professional associations that provide useful resources (e.g., publications, continuing education, networking opportunities) include the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology, American Psychological Association, National Academy of Neuropsychology, and the National Association of School Psychologists, among others. The American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) and the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (a specialty board of the ABPP) provide certification to neuropsychologists and psychologists. The Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards is an organization of psychology licensing boards in the U.S. and Canada. The Canadian Psychological Association represents the professional interests of psychologists in Canada.
