Advertising traffic manager work requires strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time. Classes in business, math, art, art history, photography, computers, and English will provide a solid foundation for this job.

Postsecondary Education

Many advertising agencies prefer to hire traffic managers with a bachelor's degree; some traffic managers may have a degree in advertising or marketing. Relevant classes include market research, consumer behavior, business management, project management, math, computer science, communication methods and technology, visual arts, and art history.
