Salesforce Developers

Work Environment

Salesforce developers often work a standard 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, but they sometimes need to work at night and on weekends to meet deadlines. Some employers offer remote work options or hybrid remote/in-person positions.

Like any other career, this occupation can be stressful when overtime is required, coworkers have serious disagreements about the best design approach for a new product or how to solve a problem, and company executives place unrealistic performance expectations on employees. A 2021 survey of Salesforce developers by PayScale.com found that 74 percent were “highly satisfied” with their careers. Some of the perks of this career include good pay, strong employment demand, and the opportunity to work in an intellectually stimulating environment.
