Advancement Prospects
This is an emerging career, so there is no clear advancement path for space tourism managers. As with any worker, STMs can advance by receiving increases in salary, performance bonuses, and stock options (which can be quite lucrative at some companies). A space tourism manager can also be promoted to high-level executive positions such as chief operating officer or chief technology officer. Some decide to launch their own consulting firms, while others decide to pass on their wisdom to others by becoming college professors.
