Strategy managers will have good employment opportunities in the coming years. Many organizations will seek their expertise to help them develop and achieve goals that are realistic and beneficial. Strategy managers will be in demand to improve companies' efficiencies and production costs.

The U.S. Department of Labor predicts that employment for the related career of management analyst will grow by 11 percent (much faster than the average for all careers) through 2033. Demand will be particularly strong for strategy managers in the health care industry, due to the growth of the aging population, which is driving up costs, and also the need for help with developing strategies to deal with health insurance regulations. Information technology companies will also need strategy managers to help them develop and maintain plans for cyber security and to keep their systems current and efficient. Strategy managers will find many opportunities with smaller consulting companies. Government agencies will also need strategy managers to help them to reduce spending and improve efficiency. Strategy managers with a bachelor's degree, several years of related experience, certification, and strong technology skills will have the best job prospects
