Visit the Web sites of professional associations to learn more about information technology. Some organizations even have membership categories for students. For example, the Association for Computing Machinery offers membership for high school and college students. Members receive Communications of the ACM and XRDS (the organization’s magazine for students) and other resources. The Technology Student Association (https://tsaweb.org) is a membership organization for middle school and high school students who are interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
