Biofuels Production Managers

Work Environment

Biofuels production managers work indoors in manufacturing facilities and plants, as well as in offices. They wear protective equipment, such as safety goggles, helmet, and steel toe work boots, when working in biofuels production areas.

Most production managers work full time at 40 hours per week, with hours extended to meet deadlines as needed. They may work during business hours during the day or they may work shifts that run into late nights or through the weekends. They are on call 24/7 to handle any and all problems and emergencies at the plant as they arise.
