Regenerative Medicine Specialists

Aspiring scientists, engineers, technicians, and technologists must have experience in regenerative medicine (e.g., internship, fellowship, volunteer position, or a part-time job), plus a college degree or apprenticeship (technicians). Those who plan to pursue a career as a physician in regenerative medicine must earn a medical degree and complete clinical training and a medical residency.

Regenerative medicine specialists must have top-notch research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. They must be creative and able to think “outside the box.” Other important traits include good organizational abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills, patience, and the ability to work both independently to design and conduct experiments, as well as work effectively as a member of a team.
