Certification or Licensing

All states regulate the practice of occupational therapists, including orientation and mobility specialists. The Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP) offers certification for orientation and mobility specialists who meet certain educational and experience requirements.
