Medical Robotics Technicians

Develop your robotics skills by building your own robots using LEGO kits or kits from other providers. You should also ask your shop or computer science teacher to include a robot building activity in class. Additionally, you can learn how to build robots as part of exploration activities in your school’s robotics club.

Participate in information interviews and job-shadowing experiences with medical robotics technicians to learn more about the field. Ask your school counselor and shop or computer science teacher for help setting up these experiences. You should also contact robotics and medical equipment organizations for potential interview/job shadowing leads.

Join student science and technology organizations to meet people with shared interests and get involved in career exploration activities (such as competitions).
