Grief Therapists

Grief therapists are not typically members of unions. Membership organizations for therapists include the American Counseling Association, American Mental Health Counselors Association, Association for Death Education and Counseling, and the Gerontological Society of America. The Dougy Center helps children, teens, young adults and their families who are grieving through peer support groups and education; it also offers training to grief counselors.
