Advanced Manufacturing Technicians

Technicians work at manufacturing plants, laboratories, and office settings. Although factories can be noisy, dirty, and busy, many modern facilities are clean and well-organized, with industrial robots performing the most basic production tasks.

Technicians in factory and laboratory settings must wear protective gear such as hard hats, goggles, and earplugs. Technicians work 40 hours a week. Since modern manufacturing facilities operate 24 hours a day, they may be required to work night and weekend shifts.
