Unions and Associations

Corporate lawyers are not represented by unions, but they can join the American Bar Association (ABA), Association of Corporate Counsel, DRI, International Law Students Association, Minority Corporate Counsel Association, and the National Association of Women Lawyers. Corporate lawyers who specialize in intellectual property can join the ABA, American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the National Association of Patent Practitioners. Other important organizations for lawyers include the Association of American Law Schools, Law School Admission Council, and the National Association for Law Placement.
