Outlook
Employment in many manufacturing occupations is expected to show little if any growth or decline through 2033, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Green products manufacturers should have better employment opportunities during the coming years, however, due to increased consumer demand for green products. In addition, local, state, and federal laws are requiring companies to reduce carbon emissions, thus causing more plants to "green" their operations. Individuals with green production manufacturing knowledge and experience will be in greater demand.
