Health Data Analysts

Outlook

Employment for statisticians (including data analysts) who work in the health care and social assistance sector is expected to increase 10.5 percent from 2023 to 2033, according to the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). This is much faster than the average for all careers. The DOL says that “employment growth…is expected to result from more widespread use of statistical analysis to inform business, healthcare, and policy decisions.” Health data analysts who have expertise in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, advanced predictive analytics, and other cutting-edge technologies will have the best job prospects.
