Statistics support this prediction. Worldwide revenue earned by software as a service providers was expected to reach more than $328 billion in 2024, a significant jump from $101 billion in 2019, according to Statista. By 2029, market volume is projected to be valued at about $793 billion, with industry revenue growing at a compound annual rate of more than 19 percent from 2024 through 2029. As a result, faster than average job growth is predicted in the customer success field. Customer success managers who have domain expertise and experience at well-known companies will have the best job prospects.
