Digital Workplace Experience Engineers

Education and Training Requirements

High School

In high school, take classes in computer science, database management, programming, computer security, data analytics, and artificial intelligence and machine learning (if they’re offered). Engineers must be able to clearly explain their findings and plans for IT improvements to colleagues and managers, so it’s a good idea to take a variety of classes (English, speech, writing, and foreign language) that will help you to develop your communication skills. Other recommended courses include mathematics, business, statistics, and social studies.
