Digital Workplace Experience Engineers

Digital workplace experience engineers are not represented by unions. Some join IT associations such as the Association for Computing Machinery (which has a Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction and offers membership for high school and college students) and the IEEE Computer Society. The Institute for Certification of Computing Professionals, CompTIA, Project Management Institute, Global Association for Quality Management, and American Academy of Project Management offer certification. The Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, Interaction Design Association, and User Experience Professionals Association International represent those in the related careers of human factors specialist, ergonomist, interaction designer, and user experience designer.
